The 1.3-litre common-rail diesel engine, called 'Quadrajet' or 'Multijet', generates 75 bhp@4000 rpm and delivers a high torque of 190 Nm@1750 rpm for better city driving. The 1.4-litre turbocharged intercooled TDi engine has been re-worked for the Indica Vista. It pumps out 71 bhp@4500 Nm and renders 135 Nm@2500 rpm.
